Abdul Khader (7 April 1926 – 16 January 1989), better known by his stage name Prem Nazir (Malayalam: പ്രേം നസീര്‍), was an Indian film actor best known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He is considered one of the all time super stars in Malayalam cinema. He is referred to as the Nithya Haritha Nayakan (Ever Green Hero) of Malayalam cinema.
Kailash (born Siby Varghese), is an Indian film actor. He started as a junior artist and his big break came in the Malayalam film Neelathaamara (2009) by Lal Jose.
Jagannathan was born in Changanassery, Kerala, India in 1938.[1] He was an active member of the Malayalam theatre scene along with G. Aravindan and Nedumudi Venu. He played the noted character of Aattappandaram in the play Avanavan Kadamba written by Kavalam Narayana Panicker and directed by Aravindan.[2] Jagannathan also directed four plays: Pathanam, Parivarthanam, Karadi and Vivahalochana.
Jagannathan's film debut was in Oridathu (1986), directed by Aravindan. He acted in over 100 Malayalam films. Ardhanaari (2012) was his last film to be released before his death. Jagannathan also played roles in many television serials, including Kairalivilasam Lodge, which made him popular among Malayali households.
Jagannathan died on 8 December 2012 at Poojappura in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Malayalam television serial director Sivamohan Thampi is his son-in-law.
Suresh Krishna is an Indian film and television actor, known for his negative and character roles. He is noted for his strong characters in Manju Poloru Penkutti, Christian Brothers, Pazhassi Raja and Kutty Srank. Though his parents, Parvathy and Balakrishna Panicker hailed from Guruvayoor in Kerala, Suresh was born and educated in Chennai.
Baburaj Jacob (Malayalam: ബാബുരാജ്‌), commonly known as Baburaj, is an Indian film actor and director who appears in villain and character roles in Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films. He became popular thorough Salt N' Pepper (2011) for comedic roles. He is an advocate by profession and practiced for 7 years. He is married to actress Vani Viswanath.
Bala is an Indian film actor who appears in Malayalam and Tamil films.[1] He made his debut in the Tamil film Anbu (2003) and continued working in the Tamil cinema in his early years, before moving to the Malayalam industry, where he found success over the years. Bala is making his directorial debut with the 2012 film Hit List which is being simultaneously made in Malayalam and Kannada languages.
Ashokan is Malayalam actor who is best known for his roles in Peruvazhiyambalam, In Harihar Nagar and Amaram.
He made his debut in 1979 in Peruvazhiyambalam, directed by Padmarajan, where he played a 15 year old boy who becomes a fugitive after killing a bully. This was followed by star turns in Padmarajan's films Arappatta Kettiya Gramathil (1986) , Thoovanathumbikal (1987) and Moonnam Pakkam (1988). In his early career he aspired to be a playback singer. With a clear talent for singing, he has hosted various film-song-based programs on television.
Narain (born as Sunil Kumar) is an Indian film actor, who has starred in Malayalam and Tamil films.
He made his debut in Adoor Gopalakrishnan's Nizhalkuthu (2002). His performances in 4 the People (2004), Achuvinte Amma (2005), and Classmates (2006) cemented his status as an actor in Malayalam cinema. Narain's Tamil debut was in Mysskin's Chithiram Pesuthadi (2006). He was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Tamil for his performance in Anjathe (2008).
