Rohini is an actress in south Indian, notably Malayalam and Tamil films. She started her career in 1976 as a child artiste. She was married to the late actor Raghuvaran from 1996 to 2003. She is also a popular dubbing artist in the Tamil industry. She lent her voice to actresses like Jyothika (Vettaiyadu Villaiyadu), Aishwarya Rai (Iruvar and Ravanan and others). She wrote lyrics for the Tamil film Pachaikkili Muthucharam, before ending another hiatus by writing songs in the album, Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey. Her acting skills were recognized and she was given the "Kalaimamani" Award recently.
Sumathi was born in Madurai; a city in Tamil Nadu, India. Her mother tongue is Saurashtra. Her father and mother were originally from Madurai. Her father managed several businesses such as photo studio and printing press. Her mother, was a housewife taking care of Sumathi and her seven brothers and three sisters. Her elder brother Prabakhar was the first one in the family to enter the film industry.
In 1966, Sumathi moved in with her Aunt along with Prabakhar to pursue his dreams. Sumathi entered the film industry when a director was looking for a young baby to play a role in a Malayalam film along with veteran actor Bharath Gopi.
Saikumar's father was the great Malayalam actor Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair. Saikumar started his career in cinema as a child artist in Vidarunna Mottukal. He started his career in theatres. He was offered the lead role in the film Swati Tirunaal, but it later was done by another actor. He made his debut in the blockbuster Ramji Rao Speaking (1989). It was directed by two debutantes, Siddique and Lal (Siddique-Lal), and had debutant actors Saikumar and Rekha in the lead.
Shamili , better known as Baby Shamili, is an Indian actress, who has primarily acted as a child actor in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu films. She is probably best known for her critically acclaimed performance as the mentally challenged child Anjali in the 1990 film Anjali that fetched her the National Film Award for Best Child Artist, and as a child trapped inside a bore-well in the 1992 film Malootty that fetched her a Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist.
Minnaram (Malayalam: മിന്നാരം) is a 1994 Malayalam musical film written and directed by Priyadarshan, starring Mohanlal, Shobana, Thilakan, Sankaradi, K. P. Ummer, Jagathy Sreekumar, Geetha Vijayan, Venu Nagavally, and Lalu Alex.
Nazriya Nazim (born 20 December 1996 in Trivandrum, Kerala) is a television anchor, model and child actress in Kerala, India.
Starting her career, In 2006, She acted in a malayalam film Palunku directed by Blessy. She played the character role as the daughter of Mammootty, and it was her first debut movie. Oru Naal Varum was her next venture. In which she played the role of Dhanya, daughter of Sreenivasan. She also had done a supporting role in the movie Pramani with Mammootty.
She was cast in an album titled Yuvvh by Sony music featuring herself and Nivin Pauly. The song 'Nejodu Cherthu' sung by Aalap Raju went up viral over net with 2 lakh hits in just 4 days of its release. 'Yuvvh' was a conceptualized theme which stands for youth.
